Software Engineer

Your mission

As part of our Web Scraping team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of a fleet of several dozen crawlers for automated large-scale data collection.

In a context of technological transformation, you will actively participate in migrating our historical ecosystem to a new platform developed in Python around the Scrapy framework.

Job Description

In this capacity, you will be required to:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize our crawlers.
• Analyze the changes in targeted websites and adapt our collection mechanisms.
• Implement workarounds against anti-bot protections and blocking mechanisms.
• Participate in the design and evolution of our new scraping engine.
• Improve performance, robustness, and code quality.
• Document developments and share best practices within the team.
• Contribute to the evolution of our architecture and development tools.

Qualifications

Desired Profile

• Graduate of a higher education in computer science.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
• Good mastery of Python and modern development tools (Git, GitHub).
• Strong interest in backend development, automation, and data collection.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems.

Advantages
